On-the-Job Training
INTRODUCTION
An important and necessary aspect of a Leader’s or supervisor’s work is the ability to train their subordinates on the job. The experienced Leader/supervisor is required to take on the essential responsibility.
Traditional unstructured OJT often consists of a trial-by-fire method of job training where people are forced to learn a job on their own, receiving guidance only when they make a mistake. This proved to cost time, money and frustrations on the superior & employees.
It is important to conduct structured OJT method where experienced employees raise the competency of employees under their wing, instructing and train them on how to perform their job, giving them the benefit of years of experience.
At the end of the course participants shall be able to:
An interactive and practical approach incorporating group discussions and presentations
Head of Departments, Senior Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and anyone who is leading a team.
